Spring delights
We begin the year with three hilarious comedies by Alan Ayckbourn, The Norman Conquests. One weekend, six people, three rooms, one Norman and several bottles of home-made wine! Together they make three hilarious plays; Table Manners, Living Together and Round & Round the Garden.
Hull Truck are back and bring a new comedy, Reunion, written and directed by John Godber. Laugh and cringe until you cry!
If drama is more your thing we have one of Shakespeare's most accessible masterpieces, Othello, presented by one of England's newest and most enterprising touring companies.
We also have another classic, David Copperfield by Charles Dickens, a story packed with superb characters and full of energy.
There is also plenty for the kids.
Alan Ayckbourn's The Boy Who Fell into a Book is full of magic and imagination. Or there is the classic tale from the brothers Grimm, Rumpelstiltskin.
This is only a small taster of what we have to offer this spring. There are plenty of theatre specials with numerous one night performances as well as our World Music Week.
