Welcome to Harrogate Youth Theatre

 

HYT is one of the largest and most respected youth theatre programmes in the country.

HYT has over 600 members between the ages of 3 and 18, all of whom are given the opportunity to work with theatre professionals in 7 towns throughout Harrogate and District.

HYT run weekly workshops in drama and playwriting, as well as half term projects, specialist workshops and an annual summer production which is given full, professional support from the staff at Harrogate Theatre.

HYT members get a newsletter every term, special ticket deals and exclusive news on getting involved with productions at Harrogate Theatre.

HYT activities are a great way to make friends, improve dramatic skills and above all have fun. We don’t audition and we don’t discriminate. We aim to offer everybody the same opportunities whatever their background or skill level.

HYT Harrogate Theatre is a member of the National Association of Youth Theatres.

And all our HYT staff are CRB checked.
